Earth from the Air to close

This is a brilliant exhibition of aerial photos of fascinating bits of the planet, in the open air, with the backdrop of Gilbert Scott's magnificent Natural History Museum. It's not just a load of photos (at size about A-0.2 if you know what I mean), although some of the photos are incredible. There is also an ecological message behind each one, some rather more serious than others, and some very thought-provoking indeed. Some of the proceeds from any sales of postcards, posters etc go to a charity to provide clean drinking water to the 40% who don't currently have it. These are also available from the website at www.earthfromtheair.com if you don't make it.

The exhibition is 3 minutes walk from South Kensington tube, it's open till 10 at night (beautifully lit after dark) and it's FREE! But... you've only got ten days left, 'cos on 3rd May they're packing it all up to start a national tour - in Birmingham of all places. So GO! This weekend!

Yes, I believe we came across the gallery after visiting the V&A Museum last year. The Photographs are all incredible, and very artistic, and make the great rounder offer to a day at a museum, (which are mostly all close by).

I don't understand how this is happening. I visited your page at 8:00PM, and noticed that you had last posted at 8:47PM. How is this possible? The only possible explanation is that the time stamp of your post is reflecting the Nazi/Communist government imposed "Summer time".
This does not make sense. The "time" is 7:47PM not 8:47PM.

This is of course an excellent point, on which I shall be posting shortly. "Summer time", or "Early Rising Time" as I prefer to call it, reflecting as it does the reality of the change, is a government imposition. Unfortunately short of changing the time stamp for each of my posts, which I suppose I could do as there aren't too many of them, I am not aware of how else to slove this issue!
